Randall Erb

Randall Erb is an accomplished Professor at Northeastern University, leading the DAPS Lab within the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering since January 2013. Additionally, Randall co-founded Boston Materials, LLC, Fortify, and Fourier, starting these ventures in June 2016 and July 2022, respectively. Prior to these roles, Randall served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Andre Studart's Lab at ETH Zurich from August 2009 to December 2012, and worked as an Electrical Engineer at Washington Group International for one year starting in June 2004. Randall holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University, completed from 2005 to 2009, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester, obtained from 2000 to 2004. Education was initiated at Cherry Creek High School, graduating in 2000.
