Lauren Vallez has a diverse work experience in various research and engineering positions. Lauren started their career as a Research Assistant & Consultant at the University of St. Thomas from December 2014 to October 2016. Later, they joined Berkeley Lab as a Doctoral Fellow, where they studied ions at the electrode-electrolyte interface during electrochemical water oxidation to hydrogen peroxide using X-ray absorption spectroscopy. This position lasted from January 2022 to June 2022. Lauren then joined Stanford University as a Graduate Research Fellow in January 2018, and they continued in this role until January 2023. During their time at Stanford, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant from September 2022 to December 2022. Currently, Lauren is working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Fourier, starting from January 2023.
Lauren Vallez has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. From 2013 to 2017, they attended the University of St. Thomas, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Stanford University in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford.
