Santhana Amuthan

Santhana Amuthan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Their most recent position is as a Product Management Director at FourKites, Inc., starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they held a Product Manager role at the same company, starting in August 2017.

Before joining FourKites, Inc., Santhana worked as a Product Manager at Metalcare Solutions Asia Pte Ltd from January 2017 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for managing an Inspection Management software project, working closely with the client and leading a team. Santhana utilized Jira for project management and Slack for communication.

In 2017, Santhana also worked as a UX/UI designer and Product Consultant at Study Planner, an upcoming iOS and Android app. Santhana used Sketch to design the app's user experience and user interface and provided product consulting services, participating in meetings and contributing insights.

From September 2015 to October 2016, Santhana served as a Product Manager at Buzzinga Events. Their responsibilities included setting up a core team, designing the UX/UI, analyzing competitors, and managing the release of the app's Android version to the Play Store.

Santhana's previous experience includes a role as a Product Manager and iOS developer at pickleconnect, where they managed projects and coordinated with the backend team. Santhana also worked as a lead iOS developer, developing the entire iOS app for the company. Santhana held this position from January 2016 to August 2016.

Earlier in their career, Santhana worked as a Software Developer (iOS) at Tenmiles from May 2013 to August 2015 and as a software engineer at NowOn Technologies Pvt Ltd from January 2011 to March 2013.

Before their professional career, Santhana completed an internship at Green Communication, where they conducted research on green communication technologies and analyzed the contributions of leading companies in the field. Santhana also had an internship training experience at Honeywell, India, where they gained exposure to lean principles, process compliance, client handling, and project delivery.

Throughout their work experience, Santhana has demonstrated skills in product management, project coordination, UX/UI design, iOS development, and technical research.

Santhana Amuthan pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Anna University from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communication from the National University of Singapore for the academic year 2009-2010.
