Alex Elliott

Alex Elliott is an experienced engineering executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Engineering at Fourth Power since October 2025. Prior to this role, Alex held several positions at Ambri from October 2012 to October 2025, including EVP of Engineering, VP of Cell Development, and Director of Engineering, among others. Alex's early career includes roles such as Project Coordinator and Chief Chemical Engineer at Composite Motors, Inc./Composite Modules, Inc. and Scientist/Engineer at Physical Sciences Inc, where significant contributions were made to government battery programs and chemical reactor design. Alex also conducted independent research at the University of Rochester, leading projects on renewable energy and nano-scale catalysts, and began an engineering career as a lab assistant at Cytec Corporation, contributing to FDA approval processes. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, earned in 2008.
