Brooks Garner

Brooks Garner is an experienced meteorologist currently serving as the Senior Meteorologist at FOX 35 Orlando since June 2021. Previously, Garner held positions as the Morning Meteorologist at KDVR - FOX31 Denver and KHOU 11 in Houston, where responsibilities included delivering weather forecasts during weekday morning broadcasts. Earlier career roles include serving as a Weekend Evening Meteorologist and weekday science reporter at WFLA-TV in Tampa, as well as M-F Evening Meteorologist at WIS-TV in South Carolina. Additional experience includes freelancing at WACH FOX and working as a Morning Meteorologist at KMEG 14 Siouxland News. Garner began a professional career in weather as a producer of weather graphics at WHDH-TV in Boston and also has a background in web development. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
