Edward Trentzsch

Edward Trentzsch is an experienced news producer currently working at FOX 35 Orlando, WOFL-TV since June 2023. Previously, Edward held the role of news producer at WFXG FOX54 from June 2021 to September 2023. Edward also served as the executive director of Carolina Week, overseeing a fully remote broadcast covering events at UNC-Chapel Hill during the COVID-19 pandemic. In earlier roles, Edward directed a team for the award-winning, Emmy-nominated show Sports Xtra, and worked as a production assistant for both the ACC Network and the UNC School of Media and Journalism. Edward began a career in journalism as a staff writer for The Daily Tar Heel. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where education was completed in 2021.
