Elizabeth Alvarez

Elizabeth Alvarez is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in television reporting and anchoring. Currently serving as a Reporter for FOX 5 San Diego since September 2022, Elizabeth also holds the position of Morning News Anchor/Reporter at KUSI Television since January 2015. Previous roles include News Anchor at LIN Media/KRQE-TV Channel 13 from 2011 to 2014, Anchor/Reporter at Fox 35 Orlando from 2006 to 2011, and Morning News Anchor at KFOX14 from 2004 to 2006. Elizabeth began a career in journalism as a Reporter at KDBC-TV from 2001 to 2004, followed by a role as a One-Man-Band at Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. and News Assistant at KCBS. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Long Beach.
