Heather Lake is an experienced weather forecaster and reporter currently serving at FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) since November 2008, providing on-air weather and traffic updates from 5-6am and fulfilling roles as a feature reporter and fill-in anchor. Prior experience includes hosting for the Competitor Group from 2010 to July 2011 and serving as a reporter and anchor for WCTI from February 2007 to October 2008, where responsibilities included anchoring the weekend edition of "Good Morning Eastern Carolina" and acting as bureau chief for the Jacksonville bureau. Additionally, Heather worked as a producer at WESH from March 2006 to October 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of Central Florida and ongoing studies for a Certificate in Broadcast & Operational Meteorology at Mississippi State University.
