Zara Barker

Zara Barker is an experienced television news reporter currently working at FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) since June 2022. Prior to this role, Zara served as the 11 pm anchor at KTVI FOX 2 for two years, where responsibilities included anchoring the late-night newscast and reporting for earlier broadcasts. Zara's career in journalism began as a reporter at News-Press & Gazette Company, followed by a position as a news reporter and anchor at ABC 17 News. Earlier experience includes working as a television reporter and production assistant at KOMU-TV, and a broadcast lab assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Zara also completed an internship at KMOV-TV and worked as a customer service representative at Shelter Insurance Companies.
