Katie Fulp

Katie Fulp is an experienced media professional currently serving as an Executive Producer at FOX8 WGHP since March 2014. In this role, Katie guides producers and reporters, showcases stories, decides coverage, and fills in as a producer. Previously, as a News Producer at FOX8 WGHP, Katie produced the 5pm and the #1 rated 10pm newscast for seven years, along with multiple award-nominated news specials. Earlier experience includes producing for WCTI TV 12 and FOX 8/14, where the 5:30 newscast achieved the top rating in the market, and internships at WWAY News Channel 3 and News 14 Carolina, focusing on field reporting and production. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from East Carolina University.
