Michael Shapiro

Michael Shapiro is an experienced information technology leader with a proven track record in strategic design and integration of application technology roadmaps to enhance financial and organizational performance. Currently serving as Vice President of Information Technology Operations at Fox Chapel Publishing Co since March 2024, Michael previously held similar positions at Primitives By Kathy and served as Director of Technology Strategy & Services. Prior roles include Director of Business Applications at Clipper Magazine, Owner of BCG Consulting, Director of Development at INK-IT DIGITAL, Senior Accounts Manager at Nexus Professional Associates, Internet Systems Project Manager at Armstrong World Industries, and VP of Web Development at Global Internet Associates. Michael holds a BS in Information Technology and Math from Penn State University and has extensive experience collaborating with major clients such as Aramark, AOL, and Allergan.
