Eric J. Johnson

Eric Johnson, J.D. is an experienced executive with a strong background in public administration and law. Currently serving as Executive Director at Fox River Water Reclamation District since December 2022, Eric Johnson oversees the operations of three wastewater treatment plants, manages a substantial budget, and ensures regulatory compliance. In November 2023, Eric Johnson became a Fellow at The British-American Project, a prestigious trans-Atlantic fellowship of leaders recognized for their professional achievements. Previously, Eric Johnson held leadership roles including Village Manager for the Village of Carpentersville, Township Administrator for the Township of Schaumburg, and Supervisor and Treasurer for DeKalb Township. Eric Johnson also has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at Kishwaukee College, teaching public administration and political science, and served as a State's Attorney Law Clerk in DuPage County, gaining expertise in prosecutorial duties. Eric Johnson holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University.
