Theresa Taplin

Theresa Taplin began their career at Greenfield Senior Living Inc in 2006 as an Executive Director. Theresa worked there until September 2010. Taplin then joined Commonwealth Assisted Living as the Regional Director of Operations in October 2010. In May 2014, they transitioned to the role of Regional Director of Memory Care. Taplin's most recent work experience is as the Vice President of Operations at Fox Trail Senior Living, starting in May 2017.

Theresa Taplin's education history shows that they attended Laurel Ridge Community College from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Nursing with a field of study in Licensed Practical Nurse. In addition to their degree, Theresa Taplin also holds various certifications. In 2000, they obtained a license as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing. Other certifications include being a Certified Dementia Practitioner, which they obtained in May 2014 from The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners and The International Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Furthermore, in February 2011, they became an Assisted Living Administrator Preceptor under the Virginia Department of Health Professions - Board of Long-Term Care Administrators. Theresa Taplin also acquired the certification of a Board of Long Term Care Administrators- Assisted Living Facility Administrator in October 2008 from the Virginia Department of Health Professions. In August 2005, they completed the Train-the-Trainer: Training Quality Dementia care Workers program offered by the Committee of Nursing and Allied Health. Additionally, in October 2003, Theresa Taplin became a Train-the-Trainer of Assisted Living Direct Care Staff through the Virginia Department of Social Services Division of Licensing Programs. Lastly, in March 2003, they obtained the Train-the-Trainer for Facility Trainers of Medication Aides certification from the Virginia Department of Social Services Division of Licensing Programs.
