Scott Gryder

Scott Gryder is the current Director at the Fox Valley Family YMCA. Scott has held this position since September of 2019. Prior to their current role, Scott served as the General Counsel and VP-Senior Underwriter at Near North Title Group from July 2015 to September 2019. Scott also held the position of Vice President National Commercial Services/National Counsel at First American Title from February 2010 to July 2015.

Before their time at First American Title, Scott was with Kendall County and the Illinois Counties Risk Management Trust. In 2010, they also took on a role with the Illinois Complete Count Commission for the 2020 Census.

Scott's previous experience also includes serving as the Vice President of the Oswego Public Library District Board of Trustees from May 2005 to November 2012. Prior to that, they were with Chicago Title as the Asst Vice President - Claims Counsel from January 2003 to December 2005.

Scott Gryder attended DePaul University College of Law and earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.). Scott also holds a certificate from the Illinois County Government Leadershp Academy at the University of Illinois Institute of Government & Public Affairs. Scott's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from University of Illinois Springfield.
