George Kalka, GLP

George Kalka has extensive experience in the travel and hospitality industry. George began their career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts as the Director of Group Sales from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they served as the Director of Sales at Heidel House Resort & Spa in 2004-2005. Kalka then joined La Quinta Inns & Suites as a Regional Sales Manager from 2005 to 2008, where they achieved impressive revenue growth and exceeded annual goals.

From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Choice Hotels International, first as the Field Manager for Cambria Sales and then as the Director of National Brand Sales for Cambria hotels. During their time at Choice Hotels International, Kalka played a crucial role in developing sales strategies and achieving significant market share growth.

Since 2013, Kalka has been with Fox World Travel, holding various leadership positions. George started as the Senior Director of Account Management, where they focused on customer management, growth, and retention. George then became the Senior Director of Global Sales, leading customer acquisition and exceeding sales quotas by providing value creation and ROI selling to C-level executives.

In 2018, Kalka was promoted to Vice President of Global Client Solutions, responsible for client relationship management, customer success, and revenue performance. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Business Travel, overseeing the business unit strategy, sales, account management, and customer engagement to ensure profitability and commercial success.

Throughout their career, Kalka has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, revenue generation, and a customer-centric approach in the travel and hospitality industry.

George Kalka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Hospitality & Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. George has also obtained a Global Leadership Professional (GLP) Designation from both The Wharton School and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Global Leadership Professional (GLP) from the GBTA | Global Business Travel Association in October 2020.
