Ondrej Jasicek is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure at Foxconn Slovakia since October 2015, Ondrej is responsible for the infrastructure and availability of the data center. Prior to this role, Ondrej held positions as a Senior Engineer and IT Team Leader at Foxconn and worked as a freelance Infrastructure & AWS Engineer from January 2019 to March 2023. Ondrej’s earlier experience includes serving as an IT Team Leader at FOXCONN from October 2011 to January 2019 and as an IT Specialist/Leader at MED-ART from 2008 to 2011. Ondrej holds a Master's degree in Informatics – Physics Study from Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, completed in 2008.

Foxconn Slovakia has been the biggest LCD TVs supplier for the whole European market regarding the volume and capacity of production. The company acquired a stable market position on the foundations built by Sony Slovakia, from 1996 operating in Trnava and from 2007 in Nitra. The Sony manufacturing operation in Nitra had been producing the BRAVIA LCD TV sets for the European market. In its effort to increase profitability in the LCD TV production, the Sony Corporation created a new strategic alliance with the Taiwan Company Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd. (Foxconn). Hon Hai focuses on LCD TV production in the European region. Based on mutual agreement, Sony sold a part of its shares in the Nitra plant to the Hon Hai Company. The Nitra plant is a key player in manufacturing Sony LCD TVs in the European region. At the time, the plant covers the LCD TV assembly as well as the production of printed circuit boards using the SMT technology, supported by engineering and synchronized logistics. In addition, the Sony Supply Chain Solutions Europe (Sony subsidiary) operates the distribution center situated next to the Nitra production plant.
