Potti Fan

Potti (KaiHsun) Fan is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in hardware engineering and technology research, currently employed at Foxconn since August 2016. In the role of iPhone/XR HW Engineering Manager, Potti led a team to develop two optical waveguide-related trade secrets and one software copyright in 2022, focusing on geometric and diffractive optical waveguide technologies. As Project Lead for iPhone Engineering Test Design, contributions included collaboration with Apple to establish comprehensive test coverage for new iPhone generations, resulting in significant innovations and profit generation. Prior experience includes serving as Technical PM Lead at 創星物聯科技股份有限公司, overseeing B2C and B2B projects, and as Technical PM in the Business Operation System Department at 亞太電信, where focus was on fleet management systems. Potti earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from National Sun Yat-Sen University from 2012 to 2014.
