Kimberly Johnson serves as a Public Health Advisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since November 2023. Previously, Kimberly worked as an Occupational Health Nurse supporting COVID-19 and Monkey Pox initiatives at CHRISTUS Health from October 2022 to November 2023. Kimberly also held the position of Director of Public Health Programs at Honnête, LLC from July 2021 to November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Hematology/Oncology Nurse at Ochsner Health, which involved coordinating referrals and chemotherapy care from October 2018 to October 2022, and as a Travel Nurse with MAS Medical Staffing, focusing on long-term care facilities. Kimberly began the nursing career as a Telemetry Nurse at Ochsner Health System from February 2017 to May 2018. Educationally, Kimberly is pursuing a Juris Masters in Healthcare Regulation at Florida State University (2024-2026) after earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from California Baptist University (2021-2022) and obtaining a Technical Diploma in Nursing from South Louisiana Community College (2014-2016).
