Barthélémy Pavy

Barthélémy Pavy has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning engineering. Barthélémy is currently working at Foxintelligence as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer / MLops since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at JellySmack from 2018 to 2022, where they held various roles including Lead Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer, Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer, and Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer. At JellySmack, their work involved data science projects from proof-of-concept to industrialization, such as videos/channels performance scoring and videos performance classification using scikit learn. Barthélémy was also involved in ML Ops, ML Engineering, and Data Engineering tasks, including developing the data science team's development process, project packaging, and creating a CI/CD pipeline for the team.

Before joining JellySmack, Barthélémy worked at QWANT MUSIC as a Data Scientist from 2017 to 2018. Their role there involved data modeling from multiple external sources and building an efficient search engine using Java, Python, ElasticSearch, and Postgresql.

Prior to QWANT MUSIC, they worked at E KIP MEDITERRANEE SAS as an IT & Data Architecture Engineer from April 2017 to September 2017. In this role, they were responsible for an intern R&D project on virtualization using Docker. Barthélémy also worked on planning the migration of the company's environment to a new datacenter.

Barthélémy Pavy started their education in 2011 at the Université de Corse Pascal Paoli, where they pursued Sciences for the first and second years of their postgraduation. In 2013, they transferred to Aix-Marseille University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences with a focus on Electronic Systems in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Barthélémy attended IMT Atlantique, where they completed their IT Engineer graduation in Telecommunications and Computing Engineering, along with studies in management. In 2016, they also had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus semester at Politecnico di Torino, specializing in Mathematics and Computing.

Barthélémy Pavy has also obtained several certifications. In December 2016, they completed the "Machine Learning With Big Data" certification from Coursera. Additionally, they have completed three more certifications from Coursera: "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" and "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," both obtained in November 2020, and "Sequence Models," obtained in February 2021.
