Bill McElroy

Bill McElroy has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. Bill currently serves as the VP of Global Cloud Operations at Foxit, where they lead a team responsible for creating and managing reliable cloud infrastructure and services globally. Prior to this, they were the Director of Cloud Operations at the same company, where they developed incident and change management policies, disaster recovery solutions, and security vulnerability remediations.

Before joining Foxit, Bill worked as the US Cloud Operations Manager at Oracle, where they managed a team of engineers and ensured optimal uptime, performance, and client satisfaction for a Construction and Engineering SaaS solution across global locations.

Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Systems Engineer at First Data Corporation, Sr. Systems Administrator at Cox Communications, Systems Engineer at LexisNexis, and Sr. Unix Admin/Supervisor at SouthEastern Data Cooperative. Bill also worked as an IT Contractor at Wachovia and Marriott.

Overall, Bill has a strong technical background in areas such as cloud operations, software development, system installation and maintenance, troubleshooting, and team leadership.

Bill McElroy attended Furman University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Afterwards, they pursued their studies at Appalachian State University from 1995 to 1996, earning another Bachelor's Degree, this time in Management Information Systems.
