Rens van Eijk

Rens van Eijk is a seasoned GZ-psychologist currently serving as Hoofd Behandeling at FPC de Rooyse Wissel since January 2019, responsible for treatment oversight in both secured and external settings for pre-resocialization patients. Prior experience includes roles as Psychologist in training at Centrum voor Transculturele Psychiatrie Veldzicht and as Hoofdbehandelaar at FPC Gent, where Rens managed multidisciplinary teams and focused on stabilizing patients with complex issues. Rens also held positions in forensic psychiatric settings, notably as Afdelingspsycholoog and Groepsbegeleider. Rens is currently pursuing GZ-psychologist training at Opleidingsinstituut PPO Groningen and holds advanced degrees in Forensic Psychology and Applied Psychology from Tilburg University.
