Hebert A. Castillo

Herbert A. Castillo has over 20 years of professional experience. Hebert A. began their career in 1999 as a Teaching Assistant at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. In 2002, they joined CALTEC S.A.C. as a Product Manager - IP Networking and Project Engineer. Theirresponsibilities included pre-sales issues, product portfolio innovation, business presentation, engineering design, development solution, and elaboration of quotations. In 2015, they joined Proxim Wireless Corporation as Technical & Sales Director for CALA. Theirresponsibilities included sales and technical management, current planning, leadership on sales B2B and direct marketing, developing and implementing a plan of visits, trade shows, and business case seeking and monitoring with accounts of Proxim in CALA. Hebert A. also provided direct support to partners in the search for new business and close sales, as well as the maintenance of good commercial relationships with end customers.

Hebert A. Castillo obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2001. Hebert A. then completed a Postgrade on Wireless Telecomunications System from Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Capacitación de Telecomunicaciones (INICTEL-UNI) from 2001 to 2002. Hebert A. then attended Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola from 2007 to 2008 for CCNP, Cisco Academy, and from 2003 to 2004 for CCNA, Cisco Academy. Hebert A. Castillo then obtained an MBA in Master in Strategic Business Administration from CENTRUM PUCP from 2011 to 2013. Hebert A. also holds additional certifications, including Certified Wireless Specialist and Certified Wireless Technician from CWNP (obtained in May 2020) and CCNA from Cisco.
