John Roberts, CPA has extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. John started their career at IBM in 2005 as an Intercompany Accountant. After a year, they joined Whittemore, Dowen & Ricciardelli, LLP as a Manager in the Audit & Tax Services department. John worked there for eight years before moving to FPI Mechanical Inc. in 2014, where they currently hold the position of Chief Financial Officer.

John Roberts, CPA graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2005. Prior to attending the University at Albany, SUNY, Roberts attended the United States Air Force Academy. In addition to their education, Roberts holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.

FPI Mechanical began in 1985 in Selkirk, NY as a small full service mechanical piping contractor serving the petrochemical industry in the Capital District Region of New York State. Since our beginnings, we have sought out the most technically demanding and schedule challenged projects to be a part of. Our capabilities expanded to meet project demands into engineering, fabrication, and project management. All in an effort to provide solutions to our customers problems. Over the years, we developed expertise in not only process mechanical systems, but also HVAC systems, plumbing systems and more. Through our partnership with the Local 7 Plumbers and Steamfitters, FPI Mechanical is able to offer design, fabrication and installation services to clients. Making us one of a few mechanical construction companies able to offer a combination of these services. Safety is of the highest priority within FPI Mechanical. We strictly follow the safety requirements of OSHA, as well as MSHA and DOT as applicable to our projects. Our safety program is based on the tenets of prevention, training, and hazard management. All high risk work is approached with caution. New employees are required to receive 16 hours of comprehensive training in OSHA standards and company policies. All employees are required to receive 8 hours of refresher training every two years Whatever your mechanical project needs may be, the chances are good that FPI has the capability to complete your project.
