Nathan Skinner has over a decade of diverse experience in both bookkeeping and educational support roles. Currently serving as a Bookkeeper at FPI Mechanical Inc. since January 2011, Nathan has previously held positions as a Support Services Mentor/Tutor at G. Christopher Hunnicutt, where assistance was provided to a young man with special needs in various subjects, and as a Program Assistant at Emory Center for Lifelong Learning, focusing on newsletter articles and course materials. Nathan's early career included roles such as Receptionist at Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine and Caseworker at The Choice Program, where mentoring youth was a key responsibility. Nathan also gained experience in ministry and music leadership through internships and volunteering at Grace Chapel of Clifton Park and Colgate University Church. Nathan holds a Master of Theological Studies from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Colgate University.

FPI Mechanical began in 1985 in Selkirk, NY as a small full service mechanical piping contractor serving the petrochemical industry in the Capital District Region of New York State. Since our beginnings, we have sought out the most technically demanding and schedule challenged projects to be a part of. Our capabilities expanded to meet project demands into engineering, fabrication, and project management. All in an effort to provide solutions to our customers problems. Over the years, we developed expertise in not only process mechanical systems, but also HVAC systems, plumbing systems and more. Through our partnership with the Local 7 Plumbers and Steamfitters, FPI Mechanical is able to offer design, fabrication and installation services to clients. Making us one of a few mechanical construction companies able to offer a combination of these services. Safety is of the highest priority within FPI Mechanical. We strictly follow the safety requirements of OSHA, as well as MSHA and DOT as applicable to our projects. Our safety program is based on the tenets of prevention, training, and hazard management. All high risk work is approached with caution. New employees are required to receive 16 hours of comprehensive training in OSHA standards and company policies. All employees are required to receive 8 hours of refresher training every two years Whatever your mechanical project needs may be, the chances are good that FPI has the capability to complete your project.
