Mark Buckley

Mark Buckley is a seasoned professional in the Coastal Forest industry with over 22 years of experience, currently serving as Senior Scientific Director at FPInnovations since March 2023. Prior to this role, Mark was the Sawmill Manager at Western Forest Products from December 2006 to March 2023 and held various positions including Maintenance Superintendent at Weyerhaeuser and Process and Reliability Coordinator. Mark's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Wood Products Processing and Forestry Manufacturing and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, both obtained from The University of British Columbia.
