Jarret Sues

Jarret Sues is a Managing Director in FPL Associates’ Compensation Consulting group, based in the firm’s New York office. Mr. Sues is responsible for co-managing the compensation consulting division of FPL and advising corporate leaders on executive compensation and corporate governance matters. He oversees all aspects of executive/Director compensation, including competitive benchmarking assessments, short- and long-term incentive plan designs, corporate governance reviews and compensation planning for IPOs, spin-offs and mergers & acquisitions.

Mr. Sues has 15 years of experience advising public and private companies in multiple industries, including banking, distribution, finance, real estate and technology. Prior to joining FPL, Mr. Sues served as the co-lead of FTI Consulting’s Executive Compensation and Corporate Governance Solutions team, where he advised companies on a wide array of compensation, governance and strategic matters. Earlier, Mr. Sues worked as a consultant in the New York City office of FW Cook, a general industry executive compensation consulting firm.

Mr. Sues earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Xavier University in Ohio. He is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and WorldatWork. When he’s not assisting clients, Mr. Sues enjoys following baseball; he played professionally for the Tampa Bay Rays organization prior to launching his consulting career.
