Grant Strange

Originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri (home of Gone Girl), Grant first fell in love with video production in the 8th grade. A bank held a regional competition for his school to make a video about saving money. Grant won, and was immediately hooked. From then on, he took every opportunity he could find, joined his high school’s broadcast club, shot social media videos for his mom’s store, and made cheesy zombie movies with friends. In 2016, he moved to Bend, Oregon, to begin community college, where he was hired by a local production company. There, he had the opportunity to work with clients like Microsoft and Visit Central Oregon. After graduating from the University of Oregon, Grant worked as the Creative Executive Producer for Duck TV, the university’s broadcast group, where he produced series and short films. Throughout his experience, Grant has especially enjoyed learning the editing process and finding new ways to reframe stories through film.
