OCTAVIO NAVARRETE

Octavio Navarrete has extensive experience in business development, geoscience, and engineering. OCTAVIO began their career in 1988 as an Engineer Geologist at the Instituto Mexicano del Petróleo, where they worked on projects related to the basement of some Mexican basins. OCTAVIO also worked in the Geological Drawing and Cartography Department. In 1998, they joined A.G.I. Mexicana S.A. de C.V. (A Core Laboratories Company) as a Technician, responsible for applications for Petrophysics in PC (Prizm), the Geographix Software (Landmark), and support to promote applications on the same platform. OCTAVIO also provided courses, workshops and advice for the Prizm application and technical support for PEMEX projects in the different Exploration, Drilling and Production assets. In 2002, they joined Núñez y Asociados, S.A. de C.V. as Technical Coordinator of Geosciences, coordinating and promoting the different services offered by the represented companies. In 2003, they became the Technical Manager of Geosciences and Engineering at GEOAPLICACIONES S.A. de C.V., representing leading companies in the Oil Industry, including GeoMechanics International. In 2011, they joined Baker Hughes as Business Development Manager, promoting the business of consultancy and training for geomechanics projects, real-time monitoring and characterization of deposits in the different Exploration, Drilling and Production areas for their main client, PEMEX. OCTAVIO then worked as Business Development Manager at OilField Geomechanics LLC from 2017 to 2018, and Business Develop Manager at FracGeo since 2021.

Octavio Navarrete attended Instituto Politécnico Nacional from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería with a field of study in Geología/Ciencias de la Tierra, general.
