Jiangbo Shangguan is a co-founder and machine learning expert at Fractal since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in academia and industry. As an MSc dissertation supervisor at the UCL School of Management since June 2021, Jiangbo has guided over 20 students through diverse research topics. Currently a teaching assistant at UCL from September 2018, Jiangbo covers subjects like business analytics and predictive analytics. Previous roles include fintech lab manager and research associate at PHBS UK, as well as machine learning engineer and data scientist at Mishcon de Reya LLP, focusing on areas such as natural language processing and deep learning. Earlier experience includes integration engineering at Ericsson and customer service engineering at ASM. Jiangbo holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from UCL, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Sheffield, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Nanchang University.
