Roberto Moctezuma has extensive experience as an executive and advisor in various industries. Roberto is the founder and CEO of Fractal River, a consulting firm that helps startups scale faster by optimizing their operations and analytics capabilities. Roberto also serves as a venture advisor at Mercury Fund and as a growth and analytics advisor at FloatMe, a mobile app that helps millennials cover cash gaps and improve their finances. Moctezuma has also worked as a growth advisor at Amify, a concierge platform for apartments at Spruce. In addition, they served as COO and executive-in-residence at Station Houston, leading the hub's growth initiatives to develop a high-impact, high-growth startup ecosystem. Earlier in their career, Moctezuma worked at ChaiOne, where they led the products and solutions division, and they pioneered Softtek's Innoventures program to launch intrapreneurial initiatives as independent startups. Finally, they gained experience in the hardware and software industry as a VP and GM for Hewlett-Packard's Commercial PC space, and as a Director for HP's eCommerce and Contact Center assets in Latin America.
Roberto Moctezuma attended Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1985 to 1989, where they studied Computer Science. In 1999, they completed the Lessons in Leadership program at Harvard Business School. In addition, they have obtained certifications in various skills from Johns Hopkins University and Snowflake at different times from 2016 to 2020.
