David Teng serves as the Director of FP&A at Fractyl Health since January 2024, bringing extensive finance experience from previous roles in the biopharmaceutical sector. Prior to joining Fractyl Health, David held the position of Director of FP&A at Seres Therapeutics from May 2022 to December 2023, and also served as Associate Director of FP&A. David's earlier experience includes Associate Director of Finance at Akebia Therapeutics, focusing on commercial finance. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, David worked for nearly eight years, progressing through various finance management roles within departments such as Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry, Cell Biology, and Global Commercial Finance. David started a career in finance as a Financial Analyst at Coldwell Banker, concentrating on the Northeast Region. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance & Accounting with a minor in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University.
