Will Moncayo is a seasoned professional in the arts and hospitality sectors, currently serving as the Digital Media Coordinator at Fraenkel Gallery since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Gallery Assistant at McEvoy Foundation for the Arts, where responsibilities encompassed health and safety protocol enforcement during the reopening phase of an exhibition, and Lead Artist Guide at The 500 Capp Street Foundation. Moncayo has a background in retail as well, having worked as an Assistant Manager at Heath Ceramics’ newsstand and in various positions at American Apparel and Ross Stores. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography from San Francisco State University.

Fraenkel Gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in San Francisco. Since 1979, the gallery has presented almost 400 exhibitions exploring photography and its relation to other media. The gallery exhibits and publishes significant works of art in a variety of media spanning two centuries. We believe that to understand photographs it helps to see them in light of other objects, and vice versa. Fraenkel Gallery represents the work of Robert Adams, Sophie Calle, Lee Friedlander, Adam Fuss, Nan Goldin, Katy Grannan, Richard Learoyd, Richard Misrach, Nicholas Nixon, Alec Soth, and Hiroshi Sugimoto, and works closely with the estates of Diane Arbus, Bernd & Hilla Becher, Peter Hujar, Ralph Eugene Meatyard, and Garry Winogrand. In recent years, the gallery has expanded its roster to include multidisciplinary artists such as Elisheva Biernoff, Mel Bochner, Martine Gutierrez, Janet Cardiff & George Bures Miller, Christian Marclay, Wardell Milan, Richard T. Walker, and Carrie Mae Weems.
