Chris Boylan

Chris Boylan has a diverse work experience in technology and media. Chris is currently the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Fragment Media Group since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vox Media, LLC as the Head of Engineering, Audio and Video from April 2021 to April 2022. Chris also served as the Chief Technology Officer at CAFE from March 2020 to April 2021 and at Fatherly from September 2017 to March 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering at Wenner Media from January 2014 to September 2017, where they played a crucial role in stabilizing the existing codebase and expanding the development team. Chris also has experience as a Web Developer at Gawker Media from April 2012 to January 2014 and as a Frontend Web Developer at SpeechCycle Inc. from September 2011 to April 2012. Chris started their career as a Web Developer and Owner of Rock Hammer Media from October 2005 to April 2012, where they worked on various projects including Singularity. Additionally, they worked as a Columnist at AllAccess.com from November 2006 to July 2009 and as an On-Air Personality and Webmaster at Cumulus Broadcasting from June 2004 to February 2006.

Chris Boylan attended Regis High School from 1993 to 1997. Chris then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Communications at Fordham University from 1997 to 2001.
