Taryn Wood has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Taryn began their career as a Specialist at Apple Retail from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they worked as a Head Teaching Assistant at the Missouri School of Journalism for a short period in 2010. Taryn then joined Conde Nast as a Web Producer/Designer for Glamour.com from 2010 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2012, Taryn worked at The Daily as a Production Designer and later became a Senior Designer, where they were responsible for designing and producing content for the Entertainment section, including a full redesign. Next, they joined Equinox in 2012 as a Digital Designer and later became a Senior Digital Designer, focusing on marketing and sales design for digital channels and brand campaigns.

Taryn also had a significant role at Wenner Media from 2015 to 2018, starting as a Senior Designer and progressing to Art Director and eventually Senior Art Director. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Digital Art Director from 2010 to 2016.

In 2018, Taryn joined Audacy, Inc. as a Design Director, overseeing product/visual design for all of RADIO.COM's digital platforms. Taryn then moved on to become the Senior Director of Design & UX, responsible for product/visual design for various digital platforms until 2021.

Taryn's most recent role was at Evernote, where they served as the Senior Manager of Product Design from 2021 to 2023. In this position, they led design for different areas, including monetization and checkout, account management, personalization, and more, focusing on a user-centric approach and design thinking.

Currently, Taryn holds the position of Head of UX at Fragment Media Group, starting in 2023.

Taryn Wood has a Master of Arts degree in Magazine Design from the University of Missouri-Columbia, as well as a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Magazine Journalism from the same university. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile Inc, an Honors Certificate from the University of Missouri, and a Multicultural Certificate from the University of Missouri, all obtained in 2008 and 2019 respectively.
