Ryan Zona

Ryan Zona has extensive work experience in various accounting and financial roles spanning multiple companies. Ryan began their career at PwC, where they worked as an Audit Manager for eight years, managing multiple concurrent audit engagements and overseeing staff development. After that, they served as an Assistant Controller at Proskauer Rose LLP, where they managed a team of accountants and ensured accuracy in financial statements. Ryan then joined Herrick, Feinstein LLP as an Accounting Manager, leading a team and overseeing critical department functions. Ryan later joined Fragomen as an Accounting Manager, where they implemented process optimizations, financial reporting systems, and internal controls to streamline operations and improve efficiency. In their most recent role at Fragomen, Ryan serves as a Director of Accounting, leading the implementation of the SAP Ariba system and automating intercompany processes. Overall, Ryan Zona has demonstrated expertise in financial management, process optimization, system implementation, and team leadership throughout their career.

Ryan Zona has a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree with a focus on Accounting and International Marketing from American University. Ryan also holds a Master of Accountancy degree in Accounting from The George Washington University.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained several certifications. In April 2007, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the New York State Education Department. Furthermore, in September 2018, they earned the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com.

More recently, in September 2020, Ryan obtained the SPAN Resource Parent certification from the SPAN Parent Advocacy Network. Ryan'smost recent certification is the Virtual Automation Bootcamp with StudioX (RPA) from UiPath, which they acquired in August 2022.
