Sofia Sarin

Sofia Sarin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sofia currently holds a position at Fragomen as a Client Services Manager, beginning in February 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Business Immigration Consultant at Fragomen from June 2019 to March 2023.

Before joining Fragomen, Sofia held various roles in different organizations. Sofia served as the Head of Tamil Nadu - Resource Mobilization at Save the Children, India starting from March 2017. From June 2012, they worked as a Business Integration Manager at World Vision.

Sofia also had experience in nonprofit organizations. Sofia served as the Head of Marketing & Communications at The Akshaya Patra Foundation USA from February 2017 to September 2022.

In their earlier career, Sofia worked in human resources roles. Sofia was the Manager - HR at Romax Technology from March 2009 to October 2010. Prior to that, they were an Asst. Manager - Recruitment at Impactiva S.A., where they headed recruitment for the leather and apparel industry in Chennai, starting from August 2008 to March 2009. Sofia also worked as a Team Lead - HR at CSS Corp, where they were involved in recruitment, client management, and vendor management from July 2006 to July 2008.

Sofia began their career as an Associate Consultant at Ma Foi from June 2003 to November 2004. Additionally, they have volunteering experience at YWAM from 1997 to 1998.

Sofia Sarin began their education at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Sofia then attended JUSTICE BASHER AHMED SAYEED COLLEGE FOR WOMEN from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management. Later, from 2004 to 2005, Sofia attended the National Institute of Bank Management (PGDM), where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management.

Additionally, Sofia has obtained certifications in Project Management (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in July 2016, and in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute in August 2015.
