Jani Erik Kallio

Jani Erik Kallio has extensive work experience in various industries and positions. Jani Erik is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Fraktal Ltd since July 2019. Previously, they held positions at Luodo Ltd, where they were the Chairman of the Board of Directors and later the Managing Director and Partner from April 2017 to December 2021.

Before that, Kallio worked at F-Secure Corporation, where they held several roles, including Principal Consultant, Vice President of Strategic Expansion, and Global Practice Leader for Risk and Security Management Consulting. Jani Erik was involved in expanding the company's cyber security consulting services to new markets through M&A, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.

Prior to F-Secure, Kallio worked at Nets Group as the Senior Vice President of Group Risk Management, overseeing departments in Finland, Denmark, and Norway. Jani Erik was responsible for integrating control functions and frameworks after the acquisition of Luottokunta. Additionally, Kallio held leadership positions in risk management, corporate security, and as the CISO at Luottokunta.

Kallio also had roles at Elisa Corporation as the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Information Security Manager. Jani Erik led information security teams and implemented information security management system frameworks.

Furthermore, Kallio served as the President, Vice President, and Board Member of ISACA Finland, a member chapter of Information Systems Audit and Control Association.

Earlier in their career, Kallio worked at Keskusrikospoliisi, where they were the Inspector General of Information technology crime investigations, and at the Finnish Security Intelligence Service as an IT professional.

Overall, Kallio's work experience spans leadership, risk management, cyber security consulting, information security, and law enforcement.

Jani Erik Kallio obtained an EMBA in Business Administration and Management from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they studied Security Management and Leadership at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2006-2008. Jani Erik has also pursued Computer Science, completing a course at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku in 1993-1994 and earning a degree from the University of Helsinki in 1994-1998. Additionally, Jani Erik Kallio has certifications in CISA from ISACA, obtained in January 2001, and CISSP from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), obtained in August 2000.
