Jonathan Scholz

Jonathan Scholz is a highly experienced professional in international trade policy and political affairs, currently serving as Fraktionsreferent für Internationale Handelspolitik for Fraktion Bündnis 90/Die Grünen im Deutschen Bundestag since October 2022. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Referent für Haushalt, Finanzen, Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Energie at BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN and completed a Schuman Traineeship at the European Parliament in 2021, focusing on external policies. Scholz has also gained extensive experience through various research and internship roles, including positions at the Institut für Weltwirtschaft, the German Federal Foreign Office, and the German Embassy in Washington. Academically, Jonathan holds advanced degrees in European Governance and Political Science, obtained from Utrecht University and the University of Konstanz, respectively.
