Brid Nelligan

Brid Nelligan is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media relations, marketing, and communications within the nuclear and energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Media Relations & External Communications and Head of Marketing & Communications at Framatome since May 2018, Brid oversees strategic communication for the Instrumentation & Control Business Unit, which operates globally. Previously, Brid held various communication roles at Orano, including Press Officer and Editorial Manager, where responsibilities encompassed media inquiry management, press release preparation, and content creation for various communication channels. Brid's career began in translation, with positions at AREVA NP and SQLI, and educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Translation Studies from Dublin City University and a BA in French and German from University College Cork.
