Caroline Baumgarten

Caroline Baumgarten is an experienced professional in the field of nuclear engineering, currently serving as HPC Overall I&C Architect at Framatome since May 2022, overseeing Nuclear Instrumentation and Safety I&C systems for the HPC EPR Project. Previously, Caroline held the role of HPC Safety I&C systems architect at Framatome, ensuring technical consistency and defining implementation strategies for the Hinkley Point C project. Prior experience includes serving as the EPR2 Main Human-Machine Interface architect and Overall I&C design engineer at Edvance, where responsibilities encompassed fostering stakeholder requirements and managing interfaces with various systems. Earlier roles at AREVA NP involved design engineering for safety I&C systems in major EPR projects, while internships at EDF R&D, Idaho National Laboratory, and Institut Curie focused on research in nuclear safety and photochemistry. Caroline earned a Master's degree in Science and Executive Engineering with a minor in Nuclear Engineering from Mines Paris - PSL.
