Alastair Cross

Alastair Cross is an experienced professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as Head of Lighting and Lighting and Lookdev Lead at Framestore since March 2015, contributing to high-profile projects such as "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3" and "The Sandman" on Netflix. Prior to this role, Alastair worked as a Lighting Technical Director on notable films including "Hobbs & Shaw" and "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald." Alastair's background includes positions as a 3D Artist at MPC, Light & Render Artist at Blue-Zoo Productions, and Freelance CG Generalist at Polar Media, along with teaching roles at Escape Studios. Alastair holds degrees in Information & Communications Technology from Trinity College Dublin and various leadership and communication courses from Landmark.
