Lead Character Animator at Framestore

Alfonso Sicilia has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. Alfonso began their career at Passion Picture as a Character TD/Animator in 2007 and then moved on to work as a Character Animator at Framestore CFC. In 2008, they joined Moving Picture Company (MPC) as a Character Animator, where they contributed to various TV commercial projects. Alfonso then returned to Framestore as a Lead Character Animator, holding this position for seven years. In 2015, they joined Industrial Light & Magic as a Senior Character Animator before transitioning to Weta Digital in 2016. At pinkman.tv - Netflix, they served as the Rigging Supervisor for "The Witness" short film, which received the Outstanding Short Form Animated Program award at the 71st Emmy Awards in 2019. Alfonso later rejoined Industrial Light & Magic as a Lead Character Animator and then joined agora.studio as an Animation Supervisor. Currently, Alfonso Sicilia holds the position of Lead Character Animator at Framestore, starting in 2023.

Alfonso Sicilia completed their education in two different fields. Alfonso obtained a Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the State Industrial and Technical Institute (ITIS) between 1995 and 2000. Later, they pursued Animation from Animation Mentor between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, they hold a certification as an Electrical Engineer from the Minister of Education in Italy, obtained at an unspecified time.
