Chris Hurtt is an accomplished Animation Supervisor with extensive experience in the visual effects and animation industry. Currently at Framestore since September 2019, Chris has contributed to major projects such as "Wonka" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," winning an Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Character Animation. Previous roles include Lead Character Animator at Industrial Light & Magic, where Chris worked on notable films like "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" and "Disney's Aladdin," as well as positions at companies such as MPC and Double Negative Visual Effects. With a double BFA in Film Studies and Fine Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder, Chris has a rich background, including significant contributions to Oscar-winning animations and various acclaimed projects throughout a career spanning over two decades.
