Dale Newton

Dale Newton is an experienced animation professional with a career spanning several decades in the VFX and animation industry. Currently serving as Animation Supervisor at Framestore since October 2004, notable works include contributions to the film "Wonka" in 2023 and as Lead Animator on "Guardians of the Galaxy" in 2014. Previous roles include Sequence Supervisor for the storybook sequence of "Tale of Despereaux" in 2008 and Senior Animator positions at Banjax Entertainment and Pepper's Ghost Productions. Early career experience includes working as an Animator and CG Generalist at The Worx Digital Graphix, where Dale Newton contributed to over one hundred commercials. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand and earlier studies at the National School for the Arts.
