Amy Hurt

Amy Hurt is an experienced education and language professional currently serving as a Travel Specialist at Abercrombie & Kent USA since June 2023 and as a Writer for Crowd Content since April 2022, where translation and original writing in Spanish are key responsibilities. Previously, Amy held roles as a Dual Language Arts Teacher at Leman Middle School from May 2020 to January 2022, and as a Dual Language Teacher at CCSD59 from June 2019 to May 2020. Prior to that, Amy taught ESL and Spanish at Yorkville High School from August 2011 to June 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an ESL/Bilingual Endorsement from Aurora University, and a Master of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching from DePaul University.
