It is best known for its pioneering work in the highly promising field of “predictive maintenance”. Franchetti’s main field of endeavor is in the area of inspection, analysis and predictive maintenance scheduling of the high-value elements - primarily bridges - of complex transportation networks. Altogether, Franchetti has so far operated on approximately ten thousand highway and railway bridges around the world. The strongest part of the company’s offer is its technique of predictive maintenance, a methodology which transforms raw inspection data into reliable operating-life predictions and maintenance requirements for large-scale infrastructural elements in concrete, steel and in masonry.
