VP of Creative is currently the VP of Creative at FranchiCzar. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Project Manager at Rhythm from February 2021 to November 2021. There, they lead and executed day-to-day activities of the Creative and Brand teams to ensure seamless workflow and creative execution excellence. This included defining project scope and objectives, overseeing and organizing workload and budgets across projects, forecasting resources needed to reach objectives and managing resources in an effective and efficient manner. VP of Creative also brought together all the pieces in building out the project: copy, wireframes, UX, illustrations, and designs for review and approval. Furthermore, they were the gatekeeper and point of contact to help manage communication flow across teams and stakeholders and held internal teams, freelancers & partners accountable for delivering on project plans, and staying on top of all timelines and budgets throughout the process. Additionally, VP of Creative was responsible for project kick-off process and making sure all teams have been aligned on brief before creative production begins. They also created and enhanced processes, protocols, and workflows to improve team effectiveness and efficiency. Furthermore, they owned the process to ensure all creatives are aligned to stakeholder feedback as well as managed timelines and creative deliverables. They conducted regular status reporting and trafficed creative once finalized to media/marketing and product teams for launch. Lastly, VP of Creative was the curator of all creative files and deliverables on the shared directory, ensured legal and regulatory approvals, assisted with creative production such as copy adjustments to layouts, resizing/cropping artwork, assisted with web production on the marketing website through the company’s content management system to stand up landing pages and add/edit content, and lead cross-functional projects involving multiple departments on an ad-hoc basis.
The individual has a Master of Arts in Advertising from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Communications: Public Relations from the University of Houston.
A direct report to VP of Creative is and Eduardo Matos - Senior Creative Director. VP of Creative reports to Executive VP, Executive VP. They are on a team with VP of Education - VP of Education, VP of Marketinig - VP of Marketing, and VP of Administration - VP of Administration.
