Mark MacGregor

Mark MacGregor has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Mark currently serves as the Principal Design Assurance Engineer at Francis Medical since September 2021.

Prior to their current role, Mark was the Owner of SOLVE LLC, starting in April 2016.

Mark also worked as a Principal Systems Engineer at IMRIS, Deerfield Imaging from October 2020 to September 2021.

Before that, they served as a Technical Specialist in Regulatory Services at BSI from 2019 to 2020.

Mark was an Engineering Consultant at Abbott (formerly St. Jude Medical) from 2017 to 2019.

From 2010 to 2017, they worked in various positions at start-ups and contracts.

Prior to their work in start-ups, Mark was a Principal Engineer at St. Jude Medical (Endocardial Solutions) from 2002 to 2010.

Mark started their career at Medtronic, where they held multiple roles including Engineering Consultant, Principal Quality Systems Engineer, Senior Development Engineer/Project Manager, and Manufacturing Engineer from 1990 to 2001.

Mark also has experience as a Manufacturing Engineer at UFE and worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Laboratory for Thin Film Deposition.

Mark MacGregor obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1983 and 1988. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree at the University of Minnesota from 2008 to 2012, specializing in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
