Michele Shepard

Michele Shepard has over 20 years of work experience in the medical technology industry. Michele currently holds the position of Vice President, Clinical Affairs at Francis Medical, starting in October 2019. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Clinical Affairs at Amphora Medical, Inc. from October 2017 to May 2019, where they played a key role in the development of a novel therapy for overactive bladder syndrome. From May 2013 to October 2017, they served as the Vice President Clinical Affairs at Osprey Medical, a publicly traded company focused on making cardiology procedures safer for patients. Michele also gained valuable experience at Coloplast, where they held various roles including Global Head of Clinical Research - Surgical Urology from April 2009 to May 2013. Before that, they worked at Medtronic as a Senior Clinical Research Specialist from November 2004 to September 2006. Michele began their career at the University of Minnesota, where they held several research and clinical project management positions.

Michele Shepard holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Health/Anthropology from the University of Minnesota. Michele also obtained a Masters of Education in Human Resource Development/Dept of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development from the same institution. Additionally, they have a certification from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).
