Pembe Ramadan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in taxation law and litigation. Currently serving as an Associate at Francis Wilks & Jones since February 2024, Pembe has been with HM Revenue & Customs since January 2018, initially as a Paralegal and progressing to the role of Tax Litigator. Pembe leads Judicial Review and Legitimate Expectation Litigation, independently manages VAT appeals, and represents HMRC in approximately 60 tax disputes. Additionally, Pembe has a strong background in training and project management, having delivered training to over 200 legal practitioners. Previous experience includes roles at various legal institutions, including mini-pupillages and case work focused on public and civil law matters. Pembe holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Sussex.
